I know that we have seen this prototype before at previous Auto Shows. It has been said that the Ford Executives have been mulling over the idea of this vehicle to match up with the Jeep Wrangler and the Jeep Cherokee.
It would be built on the Ford F-150 platform and this would cut down on the cost to build it. It would come with a shared 4WD from the F-150 as well. The engine choices could be the 3.5L Ecoboost, the 5.0L and the 4.5L Diesel. Maybe we could see it in an SVT model as well.
Maybe Ford will build it and it will have a removable top like past generations of the Bronco. And maybe we could see it in a four door as well. As for the price it could be around that of the Wrangler of the mid 25K's.
I guess we will have to wait and see what they will be doing, but it does sound exciting to know that they may be thinking along these lines.
